Mr Barnes has had a long and distinguished career in the Property industry with considerable experience in large scale developments and infrastructure projects in Australia, Tahiti and Indonesia.
With over 40 years of experience he has held a number of senior high profile positions including Managing Director of CRI Australia Pty Limited for 21 years, Non Executive Director of Goodman Australia Industrial Fund and Global Head of Property Lending for Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Institutional Bank.
Rob served as the 35th Premier of the Queensland Government of Australia from 1996 to 1998.
Rob is the Chair of the Legacy Committee for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and a member of the Council of Griffith University.
Jim Longley has been in the banking industry for over 15 years. Initially with Westpac (1980-86) in Sydney, London and the US, he was the Executive Vice President for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, which is the largest bank in Australia, where he commenced in 2000.
Prior to this he was CEO of one of Australia’s largest aged care organisations, following ten years as a Member of the Australian NSW Parliament from 1986-96, including three years as an Australian Cabinet Minister from 1992-95.
His qualifications include Bachelor of Economics, Master of Economics, FCPA, FAICD, FAIM, (Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management). He is on the Board of several organisations.
David is a specialist in corporate and transaction law, including advising on structures, process, M&A, governance and complex documentation, as Principal of 3D Corporate Law, a corporate advisory practice
Jung Seock has been working at POSCO, a steel company, for the past 30 years and has extensive experience in raw material investment such as Iron Ore, Coal, Nickel and Manganese, especially in Australia and Africa.
In particular, during his time working in POSCO Africa, he was deeply involved in infrastructure development as well as investment in steel mills across Africa.
